What is Balayage?

Balayage is a modern highlighting technique which allows for customized hair color results. Choose from a natural looking balayage such as an ash blonde, or warm caramel for a sun kissed blonde. Or opt for a bolder look using bright vibrant colors such as purple, blue or pink.

Balayage is a great hair coloring technique to try if you are nervous about coloring your hair or new to hair color plus, it works on short, medium or long length hair.

What should I ask for when booking in for balayage hair color?

Clients also ask for baby lights or ombré, which are slightly different to balayage. We can help you choose what would be ideal for your face shape and skin tone during your complimentary hair color consultation.

How long will balayage appointment take?

This can vary depending on the length and condition of your hair plus the final look you are after can also vary the length of time it takes. For example, if you have natural hair which hasn’t been colored before and simply want to have a few lighter tones added, it might take just one appointment.

However, if your hair has previous color, it may take more than one appointment to achieve the look you desire. We offer complimentary consultations with one of our stylists prior to your appointment.

We may suggest a course of conditioning hair treatments such as B3 bond builder to repair damaged and over-processed hair.
